Terms of Service

By using Submint ("the app", "the service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Use of the Service

Submint is a personal subscription tracking tool. You may use it for lawful, personal purposes only. You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or disrupt its operation.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account.

3. Your Data

You retain full ownership of the data you enter into Submint. We do not sell your data to third parties, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

4. Submint Pro & In-App Purchases

Submint offers an optional one-time Pro upgrade that unlocks additional features. The following applies to all in-app purchases:

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store (on iOS) or by Google through Google Play (on Android). We do not handle payment details directly.
Pro is a one-time purchase — there are no recurring charges or subscriptions.
Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple or Google. We have no ability to issue refunds directly. Please contact Apple Support or Google Play Support for refund requests.
Prices may vary by region and are subject to change.
Pro entitlement is restored automatically on the same App Store / Google account, and via the "Restore Purchases" option in-app.

5. AI Features

Submint includes AI-powered features (such as subscription scan from a screenshot and AI insights). These features send the relevant input (an image you choose, or a summary of your subscriptions) to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. Output is provided on a best-effort basis and may be inaccurate; you are responsible for verifying any information acted upon.

6. Availability

We aim to keep Submint available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We will endeavour to give reasonable notice of significant changes.

7. Disclaimer

Submint provides subscription tracking for informational purposes only. It is not a financial advisory service. We are not responsible for missed payments, incorrect billing data, or decisions made based on information shown in the app.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Submint and its developers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protection rights.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria and, where applicable, the European Union. Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bulgaria, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
